There is a cold-blooded serial killer walking the streets of Yokohama. So far there have been three victims, all of them young beautiful girls with long hair, who were all found with make-up on and dressed in identical dresses. A special force has been put on the case to investigate the mysterious murders. Our hero, private eye Maiku Hama, gets accidentally involved in this murder story. His girlfriend, Yuriko, is attacked, but succeeds in escaping at the last minute thanks to Maiku. Another murder is committed a few days later and the police discover Maiku's fingerprints on the body. As far as the police are concerned he is the wanted serial killer, and they issue a warrant for his arrest. Maiku realizes that someone wants to put him away and asks for help from his detective colleagues. He begins a desperate fight to establish his innocence and to discover the real murderer. Through his love for Yuriko, Maiku is drawn into a crooked world of psychological delusions. Who knows the truth about the mysterious murders and who is the mysterious woman Mizuki? It all develops into a nightmarish psycho-thriller, though spiced with action and humour, of course. The hap is the third and final part of director Kaizo Hayashi's trilogy about private detective Maiku Hama, which is derived from the hard-boiled sleuth character, Mike Hammer. Maiku Hama is a super cool guy with a slightly dubious reputation, whose office is situated in a district of Yokohama which is a multicultural melting pot. He is the one who always gets all of the shitty jobs; when all else has failed, he uses his own methods to fight for justice. The original idea for the trilogy comes from two film lovers, director Kaizo Hayashi and leading character, actor Masatoshi Nagase. They wanted to create the ultimate hero, strong and uncompromising, who does not exist anywhere else but in the magical world of the cinema. They created Maiku Hama. The character was to develop and take shape through the three film titles and themes. The two earlier films, The Most Terrible Time of My Life and Stairway to the Distant Past, have been enormously successful in Japan, chiefly with the young and trendy generation. The films have also been greatly appreciated at various film festivals in USA. Maillu Hama is now ready to conquer Stockholm and Sweden. Are you ready for Maiku Hama?
