Polemical filmmaker Robert Greenwald is back with another documentary dealing with the injustices in modern society. This time he takes a critical look at the chain store Wal-Mart. The film is divided into several segments depicting the injustices related to Wal-Mart, whether it’s the effects of low salaries, the prohibition of unionizing or small, competing companies being driven to bankruptcy. Robert Greenwald has made a name for himself with his incisive documentaries on heavy topics, and is now a filmmaker as established as Michael Moore and Morgan Spurlock. Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price has already become a big success in USA and the movement against irresponsible corporations is growing continuously, partly as a result of the film being screened in schools, churches and by small business owners.
