When Kim Kyeong-su arrives at Volcano High, it is with the firm decision that this time, he will not get expelled as has been the case at his nine prior schools. Nothing is going to make him put his books aside and start fighting again, no matter how strong his supernatural powers might be. The story could easily have ended here. Naturally, things won't go the way Kim had hoped. Leaders of the different sports teams (read: combat teams) fight their own war in the corridors and, as the chaos grows, the teachers, led by power hungry vicepresident Mr Ma, see a chance to dominate with the powers of the Secret Manuscript. This magic document wi II give whomever possesses it power over the students since it has the power to brainwash them, removing their ''idle thought, rebellion''. Reluctantly, Keyong-su gets drawn into the fight that will decide the school's destiny. The film is a classic story of good and evil where magic, martial arts and teenage love are given equal parts. Still, this third movie by South Korean Kim Tae Kyun is a film that sets aside logic and reason and makes you think of Asian comics, and Kim Kyeong-su just might be a dark distant relative to wizard-kid Harry Potter.
