Lithuania 1940. Hundreds of Jews have gathered outside the Japanese consulate in a desperate attempt to acquire a life saving visa.
The tormented diplomat Sucihara is forced to test the limits of how much he is willing to risk. It is based on the true story of a Japanese Oscar Schindler or Raoul Wallenberg.
