Blonde Revenge

One day Gérard Bréha, a journalist at the local TV station, is offered a job at the big commercial channel TV8. He begins a career as one of the hottest news anchors on TV, supported by his wife Corine. The ratings are rocketing, which makes Gérard's boss, the seductive Marie-Ange De la Baume as pleased as punch. She asks him to investigate the dodgy terrorist group YAM as a reward. Her appreciation stretches all the way to a seminar in Marrakesh, which she invites him to in order to seduce him.

From then onwards Gérard is running out of luck. ''The Scoop'' on YAM degenerates when the police burst in during a live broadcast. The rejected Corine will not put up with Gérard being unfaithful, she is planning her revenge. After various complications and threats to his life, Gérard realizes that there is more to life than a brilliant career.

The director Jeannot Szwarc, who has previously mainly worked on TV series, has made a mass media morality play seasoned with violence, passion and comedy.
