In a distant future, vampires walk the earth. Vampire hunters do their best to hunt them to extinction, some for the money, some for more complex reasons. One of them is D, half vampire and half human. In search of a girl, kidnapped by a vampire, he walks alone in the night, shun by humans, hated by vampires, seeking cause for his agony.
Accompanied by a dramatic theme, D faces his opponents in form of a team of human bounty hunters, as well as the might of the kidnapper and his kin. The conflicts between the lone wolf and the group, old and modern ways, humans and non-humans, descendant and ancestor, create a complex plot. The film was met with applause at the International Film Festival in Moscow earlier this year.
