Thinning The Herd

A mysterious confrontation arises as a woman is surprised by a man, waiting in her home. Writer and director, Rie Rasmussen, plays the young woman, meant to be the victim of a satanic murderer. The camera entails an intimate viewing of the play between light and darkness, also commenting on media's interest for violence. The opponents are the woman and the hunted murderer. Good and Evil. God and Satan. Playing with shadows and angles Rasmussen poses more questions than she answers. Who is the hunter and who is the prey? And what is the purpose of it all? It is thrilling to find beauty in violence.
