Little Melvin is a skinny little wimp of a man. He works in a health club in Tromaville, New Jersey. The town is being terrorized by criminals while the mayor sits idly by. Poor Melvin is forever teased by the hunky customers. But one day they go too far. Melvin is pushed into a vat of hazardous toxic chemicals which transform him into a green hulk - The Toxic Avenger is born ...

COMMENTARY
This was the first installment in our series of ecological adventures starring our world famous Toxie. Melvin, the clumsy Tromaville health club-janitor, is the victim of a cruel joke and falls into a vat of toxic vaste. He is transformed into a hideously
deformed creature of superhuman size and strenght! While spending his free time smashing up bad guys and mopping up crime, Toxic provides valuable lessons in protecting the enviroment and respecting your mother. Two film sequels, and animated cartoon show, thousands of Toxie toys, games and other merchandise have followed. ':'
