The Invisible

Obsessed with the rhythms and sounds of the city Bruno always carries a tape recorder with him He records these noises and transforms them into music on his computer with his friend Noel. As they are about to sign an important record deal with a big producer; Bruno falls in love with a woman’s voice that he’s only heard over the telephone. From that moment on the search for Lisa becomes the main objective of Bruno’s life and the musical process totally changes direction. Without this woman voice Bruno is lost. He doesn’t know how to go on with his work when he can’t get hold of her. Former editor for Cahiers du Cinéma Thierry Jousse has chosen the making of a musical composition as the topic of his first feature, a topic he seems to be very attached to. The mindset of the characters is revealed throughout the film by the choices of different sounds well composed by electronic music artists Andrew Sharpley, and Matmos. KERSTIN ABRAHAMSSON
