What would life be without friends? This must be one of the questions running through the main character Jay´s mind during the long sweeping, one-take conversation, which is the basis of The Intervention. His friends have gathered around him in an apartment filled with love, understanding and the best of intents. They all want to talk about something with their best friend, or rather; they think there is something that he should be telling them.Since this is an absolutely uncomfortable situation, the dialogue and the acting make this piece of simple everyday conversations very believable, and turn them into a high-class fiction about openness, respect and closeness.
