Hi, Tereska!

15-year-old Tereska wants to be a fashion designer and attends a tailoring trade school. She meets Renata who introduces her to a world of sex, drugs and boys. Soon enough Tereska soon becomes a rougher version of herself.

Hi, Tereska! is an award winning, dark and realistic drama about the young generation in the grim suburbs of Warsaw. The film is trying to illustrate the possible explanation to a harder and more immoral society and the increasing violence among the Polish youth of today. Glinski, by using black and white photography, perfectly illuminates the environment and roughness of the block suburbs. Hi, Terska! Won the FIPRESCI Award at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival.
