A frank portrayal of the despair of four teenage runaways in Seoul, their struggle for a better life and the right to exist in a world where sex and love are almost everything. Han, a quiet and withdrawn middle class rebel meets Sari, a tough and independent gas-sniffing girl. Despite their differences they're drawn to each other, but it's hardly a storybook romance.
Im Sang-Soo's film is a sad, brutal, funny and challenging story with many layers and speed, shot on DV and transferred to 35mm, which provides the film with a video-shot look. Quick and cocky dialogue in this drama where everything seems to fit.
