This is the comic and ironic tale of Kristina, a very bitter widow. Her poodle is suffering from post-traumatic stress,her sons died while hunting for lions and her husband was lobotomized after an unsuccessful suicide attempt, and later died in the insane asylum. What Kristina has left is bitterness and she is determined to never be sentimental.
One day in the subway, she and her poodle are attacked. But she never yields for her enemies. ''God is the lone judge. Sometimes one just needs to help him a little bit.''
