Un día de suerte

Buenos Aires today. In the midst of a city shaken by social turmoil, unemployment, poverty and political conflicts, Elsa, a young woman in her twenties looks for a respectable job that will allow her to fulfil her dream of travelling to Italy. She will not arrive as just another immigrant, she is going there to meet the man she once fell in love with, and for the possibility of living a better life. Walter, Laura and Toni are her friends in Buenos Aires and partners in minor illicit adventures, that allow Elsa to come closer to her dream. Walter and Elsa are connected in something very close to a love relationship. This however does not stop Elsa from pursuing her dream. Walter is the one who eventually finds a way to help her to fulfil that dream. However, once in Europe, things turn out very differently from what she imagined. CATARINA WILHELMSSON
