Stora och små män

Jazz-freaks, Karl-Otto, Folke and Gosta live in a conservative 1930s Norrland, in northern Sweden. There is no understanding here for their music and lifestyle. Because of an inheritance they are able to leave the malevolent village and try their luck in America, the home of jazz. But New York's tough lifestyle is a disappointment and they return to Sweden. Too ashamed to return to Norrland, they jump off the train in Stockholm to give the jazz-life a new chance. The conflicts, challenges and resulting deceit threatens to destroy both their friendship and plans for the future.
