Star! Star!

This is a love story, from the glamorous nightlife in New York. Anatol is ''the king of the night'' and a young charmer that would-be Andy Warhol of the new millennium. He provides people, with masks and images to enhance their superficial qualities to become something ''Better than they realIy are. He is a pusher, selling people facades to fit into a perfect world of celebrities and media. Then he meets Lu, an unusual woman, perfect in the role as herself. She is his opposite but at the same time his equal. He desires her but after having lived in a world obsessed by gIamour and celebrity he wonders if there still exists any true feelings. Does true love exist? Everything around him seems to revolve around a phantom, an illusion. The film could really depict any big city, anywhere, where the presumption of tile artificial world goes astray and the longing, for the real thing makes itself felt.
