Press Review:s
Catti and Mick have just become parents. During the traditional ''Lucia'' celebrations at the hospital the police arrive without a warning, looking for a woman who just recently became a mother. The reasons seem unclear, and Catti hears words like terrorist and illegal alien. Everything happens very quickly, and Catti and Mick suddenly find themselves involved in a dangerous refugee drama.
''Richard Hoberts ”Run For Your Life” seems to me to be the film we have been looking and waiting for. It brings to light an important contemporary issue, yet it is - or maybe that's just why - both exciting and moving. Without a doubt it is the best film of his sequel ”The Seven Murtal Sins”, it is the fourth and is about the deadly sin, Indifference.
The story takes place in what could today be called Hobertland, with recurring surroundings and characters we have already got to know - especially in films like ”Spring of Joy” and ”Autumn in Paradise”.''

''When was the last time we saw such consistently carried out jump cuts on Swedish cutting tables? Was there ever
a director who dared to use a symphony orchestra in such a Hitchkockian way? Has Jacob Eklund ever played a better role? Answer: no, never. His tormented Bosnian veteran with a genuine blue Swedish beret in his cupboard, shows
a strong image of a man who's been forced over the border because of what he has seen and never can return to.
There are certain characteristics in Hoberts' ”Run For Your Life”, that can be traced to Sundvalls ”The Hunters” and Widerbergs ”The Man On the Roof”. Specifically, I am think-ing of the ability to see Sweden the way it really is and not the way it seems to be. The influence from Kieslowski's ”Dekalogen” - sequel ”The Ten Commandments” also becomes evident, as well as the fact that the setting for the film is placed in the sphere of the every day lives of Cattis and Mikael.''
