Stockholm Film Festival

To escape from all the Christmas celebrations, Sylvia decides to go to Tenerife. She is hoping to wipe out some of the anguish of her divorce, and is helped along the way by Sture, an alcoholic she meets on the beach. They return from their holiday as a couple. One day when Sylvia comes home from work, she finds Sture nursing a hangover. Her 10-year-old daughter Eva is nowhere to be seen. Later however, Eva is found murdered in the basement launderette, victim of a brutal sex attack. Sture becomes the prime suspect.
