Sommaren

Torun is on holiday with their two children and sister Ellen by the beautiful Atlantic coast in Denmark. During a few moments of inattention on the beach, an accident kills one of the children. Home in Stockholm again, Torun and her family try to carry on with their lives. But how do you grieve? Torun's mourning doesn't want to begin; her own remorse is in the way. She expects and wants her husband, Mikael, to punish her, but he can only love and comfort her.The following summer they return to the same beach and the circle is complete. Even if their world has changed completely, the ocean is the same.
