The Lake is a thriller that takes place into the Swedish forests. Lisa's father has disappeared and is officially declared dead. She returns to Sweden from London to sell the house. The father has disappeared without a trace. He was looked upon badly in the village and Lisa becomes suspicious that something isn't right concerning her father's death. She is convinced that the cabin by the lake contains a secret. When Lisa begins her quest for the truth, a lot of painful facts are revealed. - facts that are painful both to her and the inhabitants in the village.
