A HUMOUROUS SHORT FILM GIVING a close-up view in collage format of the routines in a couple of apartments in an ordinary building a morning when things don't happen exactly as they should. A man brushes his teeth while a passionate couple begin the morning with a big argument, then make up in the matrimonialbed.

Comment:
IN A WELL-WROUGHT STORY, CHARACTERIZED by high tempo and sharp wit we take part in an exaggerated love scene. The finale is marked by an overheated baby-bottle exploding on the stove, a cascade of milk spurting towards the ceiling while, concurrently a whole apartment building is crushed to pieces by an earthquake, generated by the lovemaking of a Latin American couple.
Like most seismologic phenomena, this erotic earthquake adventure is about the unknown powers beneath the surface. In this case a neighbor of the Latin American couple, a single man in a flanel pyjama, is struck by a slightly agonizing horror experience when he without mercy is reminded of his own solitude and thirst for love. The couple's amicable reunion literally crushes something inside of him. It's so to speak, his heart that bursts when the walls are coming down.
Solitude and suspected impotence are rarely described with such fervor and frenetic power as in short films by young directors. Could it possibly be that this category of artists make up a group dreaming of all they would like to do, while they look around intimidated by everything that's already bcen done? While young Swedish film makers let their protagonists wander around, heads drooping to the ground, pondering the lives threy've been robbed of, we're presented with agony as audience pleasing catastrophy film in this American eqivalent. _
