Standing on the hot metal roof of a garden shed, twelve-year old Georgie has no idea that her life is about to change. Together with her best friend she explores the wonders and borders of a growing friendship, and escapes an unpleasant part of reality by slipping into an imaginary world of water. Until her mother finds out.This writing and directing debut from Australian filmmaker Denie Pentecost is the result of a four year long film project shot in Sydney’s western suburbs.
