Stockholm Film Festival

The two ten year-olds, Selma and Johanna, are best friends. Against her will, Johanna is forced to repeat the fourth grade, but decides to take her teacher to the European Court.
She runs away with Selma, their sights set on Strasbourg. On their journey through Sweden they get help from unexpected places, including from two raggare (roughly a jeans wearing, beer swigging, breed of Swede, who generally listens to rock music, cruises around town in big American cars, and has a healthy dislike for authority) and the whole time the police and Johanna's worried father are hard on their heels.
