Sara Jeanne, an aging prostitute in a small town, earns her living by selling her body to American soldiers from a military base nearby. Every night, after putting on heavy make up to cover up her wrinkles, she attends the local bar in search of new customers. After she gets cheated by her pimp her vulnerable situation becomes unbearable, and she decides to take her life. The only dignity that she has left now is her revengeful way of doing it. The film is based on real events as the director, Kim Seong-Sook, wrote the script after reading a short news item in a daily paper. ARRAM ECKERBOM
