This was thought up by Chuck Wein who had come to Andy's loft as the best friend of Edie Sedgwick. Chuck saw Andy's film production company as a way of showcasing Edie as an actress and himself as a director, a not unreasonable idea. He was responsible for this and ”Beauty #2” where Edie sits on a bed and talks to a young man in bed with her.
In both cases, I believe, most of the dialogue, other than Edies, comes from the off-screen voice of Chuck who valiantly tries to keep the conversation going. Another attempt at being both dramatic and psychologically interesting but also devoid of any real humor.
