Surveillance cameras overlooki ng a hOUse captures a burglar searching room after room. A big mistake it turns out, as he's moving closer and closer to a sort of Blair Witch Project-crescendo, confUsing and highly suggestive. This animation looks like it's been shot in grainy black and white, and is closer to real life filmmaking than drawings. The overlapping of film techniques makes it rare, but the story itself contributes to the total expression as well. It's dark and creepy, and though it's only three minutes long The Plot has got the thematic potential of being a fulllength feature, where The X-Files wraps up with Psycho and Evil Dead - that old, cursed vinyl-player included.
