The Ferris Wheel

Three people's destinies intertwine by mere coincidence. They all carry dreams of a better life. The wide boy Marten meets the goodnatured Risto in jail and wins everything he owns off him. Marten gets out of jail first and quickly seeks out Risto's girlfriend Kickan to collect the debt, among other things half a ferris wheel. When it turns out that Risto is not yet the owner of the ferris wheel, they solve the problem by letting Marten receive food and lodging from Kickan who will ''pay in kind''. Soon they share the same bed. When Risto gets out of jail, they all try to raise money for the ferris wheel, which they believe will make them rich. The second, independent part in a planned trilogy which began with Subterrean Secrets.
