Nick Drake: A Skin Too Few

This is a poetic documentary account of the much-idolised life of the singer/songwriter Nick Drake who died far too young at the age of 26. The spectator is taken on a melancholic journey depicting Drake's youth in the English countryside. The journey continues with Drake's years or study at Cambridge University, then goes on to his London years and finally retreats to his home where it all once started. In spite of his self-assertive writing Nick Drake's introvert personality made it hard for people, to come close to him. He is still, more than 20 years after his death, something of a mystery both as a human being and an artist. In A Skin Too Few family, friends and acquaintances that each give a picture of a fascinating and tragic life.
