We are constantly surrounded by news, causing us to drown in our own curiosity. This is the starting point for News, a chaotic whirlwind of images, glued together on the screen for a brief but harsh comment on our society. Using newspaper clippings from different parts of the world, a constant moving collage is presented.News shows Ferrara as a confident and daring artist, comfortably mixing the techniques of classic oil painting with her filmcraft. Somewhere in the middle of all turbulence the truth is to be found, however no one can really decode every image. MARTIN FROSTBERG
