Is it possible to find reasons for living even under the harshest of conditions? Where do you draw the line where death becomes the better option and how do you cross it? Filmed entirely in grainy black and white and set in a surrealistic savannah-like environment, we meet a family struggling to make a living. One day the father has had enough and attempts to kill himself. The feeling of despair and overwhelming odds prevailent throughout the film is further emphasized by the absence of words and the raw, animalistic cinematography. Nest is a visual and emotional firecracker.DAVID FUKAMACHI REGNFORS
