Mechanism

Mehanizam takes place during 24 hours in an almost unpopulated landscape. The three main characters have never met until their lives suddenly and dramatically intertwine during a cold winter day. The first is a young, beautiful schoolteacher on her way to her first teaching job and a new start. The second is a ruthless killer, devoid of human emotions and boundaries. The third is an injured war veteran with -both physical and emotional scars that run deep. Mehanizam is a simple film. It does not have showy effects, elaborate scenery or a large budget. It is a small story about people daring to hope and believe, and about those who would rather destroy everything they see.
