Stockholm Film Festival

Stockholm has become a city of fear after the brutal killing of two small girls within a very short space of time. And the killer could strike again at any moment. It appears that the only eye witness is a criminal on the run. Martin Beck is under extreme pressure to catch the killer and rid the city of this menace, and he uses a ''psychological portrait'' to try and corner the man. But the killer outwits him and murders again, leading the police into a desperate chase.
