Love me or leave me alone

This is an exploration of young love in the gloomy English countryside,
as teenagers Steven and Jessica try to understand and
articulate their strong feelings for each other. Communication,
though, isn’t always easy.
Love Me Or Leave Me Alone is an intense, ambiguous and
beautifully cut fi lm by award-winning director Duane Hopkins.
His short Field received a Bronze Horse for Best Short Film at the
Stockholm International Film Festival in 2001. Love Me Or Leave
Me Alone was awarded Best British Short Film at the Edinburgh
International Film Festival earlier this year.
