In Pool's first film in English, three young girls at a boarding school stand in focus. Mouse has recently arrived, leaving behind her family and the small town where she grew up. She quickly befriends her two senior roommates, Paulie and Tory, who she later discovers are involved in an intimate rela¬tionship.
Lost and Delirious is about friendship, sexuality and conser¬vatism, as these three girls are confronted with both society, family and each other. With a poetic touch, Lea Pool has crea¬ted the teenage flick of the year. The film was well received at both the Berlin Film Festival and Sundance earlier this year.
