In the middle-class comfort of Long Island 15-year-old Howie puts into question his relationship to his family, his friends and his sexuality. His whole world is in turmoil. Grieving his mother who died on the Long Island Express exit 52, he is lead onto a path of crime by his best friend, the seductive Gary. The break-in and robbery of a house belonging to the elderly Big John starts a chain of events that changes the way Howie looks at life and how he feels about himself.

Cuesta's debut feature film is an astonishing work. With perception and quiet contemplation he portraits a homoerotic triangle-drama, intimately dealing with trust, loss and deceit.
