Two men have decided to hide from the superficial world outside. To pass the time, they engage in various ridiculous diversions, but boredom is inescapable. The urge to get out is strong, but also the reluctance to encounter annoying, everyday situations. That's when they discover that the world is much easier to handle if you carry a sofa around: the sofa principle. With imaginative imagery and silent film slapstick tempo, this film make the most'~ut of its ten minutes, and might even be a cure for sociopaths.
