Late Night Shopping

In a life where nothing in particular seems to happen, four shift working friends in their twenties are regulars at the local open all-night café. Handsome Vincent never stops hitting on the girls around, Stuart has long-time problems with girlfriend Madeleine, Jody is bored to death with her monotonous job and Lenny keeps dreaming about an unknown girl at his work. Their lives suddenly take a new direction when Madeleine disappears and they all go desperately looking for her.

Quick dialogue and inventive narrative in this British drama comedy about how to make and keep friends, as well as girlfriends. Shot by the same director of photography as in Billy Elliot, East Is East and Trainspotting.
