A phantom killer is pushing innocent victims off the platforms around the metro stations of Budapest, where this black comedy turning thriller is set. This is a place where drunks drive the trains, fascists run the operation and thugs check the validity of your subway tickets. Bulcsu, one of these thugs, is working as an undercover controller for the Metro which is not always the easiest or most popular of jobs. He seems to be hiding from his past deep in the tunnels but frequently gets himself into fights with both passengers and other controllers. The Budapest metro system is, to say the least, a frightening place where a constantly
bruised Bulcsu walks through dark passages of his personal life fighting ''the suits'', his colleagues and the mysterious serial killer. The turning point in our protagonist's journey is his meeting with Balka, a beauty dressed up as a circus bear who turns out to be the guiding light Bulcso needs to find his way up to the surface.
This energy-packed, surreal comedy thriller has been a major success in Hungary. It received several awards at the Hungarian Film Week and it also won the Award of the Youth at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
