A gang of penis-eating condoms are ravaging around New York. A tough cop takes up the chase in order to prevent New York's male population from loosing their manhood.
For those who read the Swedish comic strip Epix, the story of the killer condoms is surely nothing new. Epix and several of its contemporaries presented several comic strips by the cartoonist Ralph Konig. It revolves around a world filled with violence and explicit sex, both homo- and heterosexual. Konig was the man behind the series that was the basis for the successful German film ”Most Desired Man”.
The film is German, but it takes place in New York. The main character, Luigi Mackeroni, is so tough that he can drink a glass of whiskey without taking the cigarette out of his mouth. He's the one that heads the hunt for the dangerous condoms that are biting off dicks at Hotel Quickie (guess how that got its name). And for those who read the comic series will recognise Udo Samel, who looks exactly like the animated main character.
It is obvious that this is not a film filled with witty humour. On the contrary, it is very vulgar and it at times, is difficult to differentiate between when he's actually insulting sexual minorities (one can understand why the cult production company Troma distributed the film in the US).
Noteworthy, is also the fact that H. R. Giger and Jörg Buttgereit were consulted for the special effects. Giger was the man behind the Alien-monster look and Buttgereit was the man behind Nekromantik, the most notorious German, and even European, low budget trash films.
