Every evening the despotic, new rich, thief, Albert, presides over vulgar food orgies at his latest favorite restaurant. He harasses everyone, helped by his lackeys. One of these is his wife, Georgina, wearing exquisite Gaultier creations, who has grown tired of Albert's physical and mental ill treatment of her. Another regular at the restaurant is the bibliophile, Michael. The wife and Michael have a passionate love affair, meeting in secret in the ladies room, the restaurant's kitchen and in the cold-storage room - assisted by the cook. Everything is fine until the thief begins to get suspicious ...What the Critics Said ''The film provokes our senses, cruel, beautiful and shocking. The final scene is macabre, to say the least. Humble-pie is here literally consumed, and one staggers out from the cinema feeling sick.'' (Helena von Zweigbergk in Expressen) ''At the press screening a number of people had to leave and some shouted out during particularly revolting outrages.'' (Jens Peterson in Aftonbladet) ''This parable about love, revenge, and most of all, greed is both funny and horrifying - and right on target.'' (Leonard Maltin's Movie and Video Guide)
