Kennedy & Moi

Kennedy et moi is about everyday problems in the life of a man with a midlife crisis. An absolutely brilliant Jean-Pierre Bacri, who has received excellent reviews in France, plays the leading part. The film is based on a novel by Jean-Paul Dubois. Simon Polaris is a 48-year-old writer with writer's cramp. His wife is having an affair with one of her colleagues and the relationship with his children is only causing him pain. To this are added physical problems in the form of him losing his hair and toothaches. Having completely lost his will to write, he spends his days killing flies and playing with the gun he keeps in his desk-drawer. He does, however, find a meaning to his life - in the form of a watch owned by his therapist. A watch that, according to history, was on the arm of John F Kennedy when he was murdered in Dallas.
