in the history of Chile, and also the beginning of a traumatic experience which 6-year-old Raymond Paredes-Ahlgren will face,
Well-renowned director and producer Nitza Kakoseos uses her own experiences of life in exile in Sweden, with parents who fled the Greek dictatorship, when telling the story of Raymond's life, The film picks up the themes from her last film The Labyrint of Truth as well as from the award winning Talking to The Enemy,
Like the others, this film deals with wars and coup d'etats,
partly set in Latin America, Mainly, it is the story of a grown man in search of his father's, and therefore his own, past.
In the book How many times can you kill a man? Raymond Paredes-Ahlgren told the story of how he found outthe horrifying faith of his socialist father, a close friend to president Allende, Her-e, it is told in a yet more complex way, through long and penetrating interviews, personal interpretations by Nitza Kakoseos and through Raymond's own confrontations with Chilean society, where politics is still a matter of life and death.
