From Here to Kim

Per, a perfectly normal boy from the provinces, dreams of playing jazz and becoming a writer. He wants to go to New York to find his dreamgirl. Per is waylaid by a senior musical high school in Stockholm, where he stays with his aunt. In school he gets to know the experienced Roffe who knows about getting around the city. Per is constantly preoccupied with his dreamgirl, until the day he meets Kim. The step from dream to reality may be a long one.´
