Once more Daniel Lind Lagerlöf puts to the screen one of his wife Malin's well written and multi-layered stories. Far out in the Swedish countryside, on his father's farm, Johan lives happily with Anna-Karin. Only two clouds exist in their blue sky; they can not have any children and Johan does not want to take over the farm when his father retires.
Making Babies is a well played and comical story that feels modern in the way that it neither embellishes nor ridicules the life in the countryside. ''To have a comedy in 2001, cross-fertilising the longing for a child with EU farm policy, is very much on the spot'', said Helena Lindblad in Dagens Nyheter.
