The Lost Hum

With a high dose of originality, the tag team of Hirosue Hiromasa and Takahashi Izumi is back with a full feature movie. This mystifying and intelligent hostage horror takes place inside an empty apartment. The main character Nagamyia (played by Hirosue Hiromasa) is held prisoner after mercy killing his paralyzed friend Keiko who had lost her will to live. Hasumi, the sister of Keiko, is filled with anger and torment, but doesn't know what to do with her hostage. She puts up a website with a route, and the text ”I'm confining the man who killed my sister, but I don't know what to do with him. Can anyone give me some suggestions?”. The strange website attracts various types of characters to the apartment. Some of them are looking to play judge, others come just to see if the site is real. As the days pass, the feeling of guilt and relations between the victim and his kidnapper do not develop as we might expect.DAVID RÖHR
