The satiric Barbie doll tale The Fuccon Family tells the story of an American, constantly grinning, mannequin family's efforts to ''live like the Japanese''. An intention that puts the Fuccons in all sorts of (often) mundane, yet hilariously funny and akward situations.
Although The Fuccon Family with its twisted black humour may be interpreted as an Addams Family for the 21st Century, it is foremost an excellent example of what's going on in the collective Kyupi Kyupi - the inventive and never unamusingly satiric mind behind the original TV-show, and an effectively low-key critique of bourgouise lifestyle.
