Flugfällan

This is a very sweet story about a little girl's trip to visit her grandparents on the countryside d uri ng the summer. Together they make small excursions, have picnics and she gets to help out in their kiosk. One feels a warmth and security between the girl and the grandparents, especially the grandfather. One day when she wakes up an ambulance is there to pick up grandfather. This becomes her first encounter with death. The film depicts life and death through the eyes of the little girl. As in the film House of Angels, Annika Westerhult has managed to build up a warm sense of the Swedish countryside by using strong characters.
