Fifty percent grey

In a landscape reminiscent of George Lucas' debut THX 1138 (1971), a man walks around in a seemingly eternal emptiness. Eventually he finds a TV-set presenting a movie saying ''Welcome to heaven''. He moves along only to once again find himself in the same spot. I n desperation he seeks to end his life by putting a bullet in the head. When he wakes up again the only thing that has changed is the TV and what it's showi ng. Fifty Percent Grey presents the afterlife saying that there's just nothing more to it but a colourless unescapable nothingness. This beautifully animated piece doesn't care about religious beliefs - it makes you wanna do thbest of your present day. KASPER SPERBER
