Happiness Is No Joke

Michael is 45 years old and recently lost his wife. It all begins in a bar one evening around Christmas. That evening he meets André, who is going to spend the weekend with his family. Later Michael meets Nadine. He is accosted by Mme Garcia and witnesses a suicide attempt. He is hounded by curious passers by and rescued by Dominique, a suspicious transvestite who keeps his raincoat.
