Stockholm Film Festival

This is the story of a woman, Antonia, who falls into a state of deep depression when her husband dies in a car accident. When she unexpectedly finds out that her husband had a lover for seven years, she decides to seek him up and discovers another world, completely new to her, less strict and more humane than the one she's used to. This experience not only helps Antonia to get the grief out of her system but also to understand that her former husband protected her from life.

Le fate ignoranti is a warm film that shows how friends and lovers can become a family, just as important as the traditional nuclear family. Le fate Ignoranti was nominated to the Golden Berlin Bear at the Berlin Film Festival this year.
